Supporting Young Local Athletes to Reach New Heights

O2B Healthy was proud to sponsor talented young beach volleyball players Sadie and Lucia throughout the 2025-26 summer season, providing playing tops, hoodies, sports bags and nutritional supplements to support their training and competition.

Their hard work and dedication paid off when both athletes were selected for the New Zealand U18 Beach Volleyball squad. Following a series of competitive selection tournaments, they were chosen as one of just three pairings to represent New Zealand in Los Angeles in July, travelling to the iconic Hermosa and Huntington Beaches to compete in three club tournaments.

Prior to their international trip the 16 year old pair made the final of the U19 Interprovincial Championships (IPC) up at Mount Maunganui, playing the match in some horrendous rain and wind conditions, taking out a very well earned silver medal.

We're thrilled to have played a small part in their journey and love seeing young local athletes pursue their sporting ambitions on the international stage!
