More than protein. Supporting muscle, metabolism and healthy weight management

O2B Whey Lite combines high-quality whey protein concentrate with a carefully selected blend of botanical ingredients and essential nutrients to support healthy weight management, muscle maintenance and everyday energy.

Featuring L-carnitine, green tea, guarana, brewer's yeast, garcinia cambogia, slippery elm, kelp, magnesium and chromium, Whey Lite brings together complete protein nutrition with complementary metabolic and digestive support.

Designed for people wanting to manage their weight while maintaining muscle strength and vitality, Whey Lite offers a practical addition to a balanced diet and active lifestyle.

Whey protein: supporting muscle maintenance and satiety

Whey protein concentrate is a complete protein, naturally providing all nine essential amino acids required for normal muscle growth, maintenance and repair.

It is particularly rich in branched-chain amino acids, including leucine, which plays an important role in stimulating muscle protein synthesis.

Protein also contributes to feelings of fullness after eating, making adequate protein intake a useful part of a balanced weight-management approach.

Maintaining muscle mass is especially important during weight loss, as muscle contributes to physical strength, mobility and healthy glucose metabolism.

L-Carnitine: helping transport fatty acids for energy

L-Carnitine plays an essential role in transporting long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria, where they can be broken down to produce energy.

This makes carnitine an important part of the body's normal fat-metabolism pathways, particularly in tissues with substantial energy requirements, such as skeletal and cardiac muscle.

Although the body naturally produces carnitine, supplementation has attracted research interest in relation to exercise performance, recovery and body composition.

Green tea: polyphenols and metabolic wellbeing

Green tea (Camellia sinensis) contains naturally occurring catechins, including epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), as well as caffeine.

These compounds have been investigated for their antioxidant properties and potential effects on energy expenditure and fat oxidation.

Green tea provides complementary support for normal metabolism and antioxidant protection, alongside a healthy diet and regular physical activity.

Guarana: natural support for energy and alertness

Guarana (Paullinia cupana) is a botanical traditionally used for its stimulating properties.

Its seeds naturally contain caffeine, which acts on the central nervous system to support alertness, concentration and reduced perceptions of fatigue.

Combined with the caffeine naturally present in green tea, guarana contributes to the formula's energy-supporting profile.

Brewer's yeast: nutritional support for energy metabolism

Brewer's yeast is a source of naturally occurring protein, B vitamins and other nutrients, although the precise composition depends on the material used.

B vitamins play important roles in the body's energy-producing pathways, helping convert carbohydrates, fats and proteins into usable cellular energy.

Brewer's yeast adds a nutritional dimension to the formula, complementing the protein and metabolic-supporting ingredients.

Garcinia cambogia: traditional weight-management botanical

Garcinia cambogia is a tropical fruit traditionally used in food and herbal preparations.

Its rind contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA), a compound investigated for its potential influence on metabolic pathways involved in fat synthesis and appetite regulation.

Garcinia has a history of use in weight-management supplements, although human studies have not consistently demonstrated meaningful benefits for weight loss.

Slippery elm: traditional digestive comfort

Slippery elm (Ulmus rubra) contains naturally occurring mucilage, a group of plant polysaccharides that become slippery and gel-like when mixed with water.

Traditionally used to soothe the digestive tract, slippery elm provides a complementary digestive-wellbeing component to the formula.

This is particularly relevant in a protein-based supplement designed to be incorporated into everyday nutritional routines.

Kelp: iodine for normal thyroid function

Kelp is a naturally occurring marine source of iodine, an essential mineral required for the production of thyroid hormones.

Thyroid hormones help regulate metabolic activity, growth and energy utilisation throughout the body.

Adequate iodine intake supports normal thyroid function, making kelp a complementary ingredient in a formula focused on nutritional and metabolic wellbeing.

Magnesium and chromium: supporting energy and nutrient metabolism

Magnesium contributes to normal energy production, muscle function, nerve signalling and electrolyte balance.

Chromium is involved in normal macronutrient metabolism and helps maintain normal blood-glucose levels.

Together, these minerals complement the formula's focus on healthy metabolism, physical function and everyday nutritional support.

A balanced approach to healthy weight management

Healthy weight management involves more than simply reducing calorie intake.

Maintaining muscle mass, consuming adequate protein, staying physically active and supporting normal metabolic function all contribute to long-term wellbeing.

O2B Whey Lite combines complete protein with complementary botanical and nutritional ingredients to support these everyday foundations of metabolic health.
